MAW

 

Through the initial quarantine period of 2020 came MAW, a 28 page love letter to moebius, fineline comic illustration, and all types of science fiction storytelling. MAW is reinvented in format and size each time it is printed, allowing the story to become a template for exploration in printing techniques.

And Yet We Remain

 

And Yet We Remain is my most recent work in the comic medium. Consisting of 28 pages of linocut comics, this book contains an assortment of unfinished poetry exercises and an excerpt from a brief stab at journaling. In making this series of prints, I found a small story on my hands, one which grew to echo my own feelings of leaving home for college, and thoughts on what legacy means and what remains of us once we leave a precious place. This story eventually became And Yet We Remain.
